Crail Community Partnership (CCP) started the Fife Council Community Asset Transfer process for the Community Hall in June 2019. It recently submitted the Stage Two Application for this process, and the proposal was sent out for public consultation. 37 representations were received in favour of the proposal, with no objections. Fife Council have now agreed that CCP can take on ownership of Crail Community Hall. There are however a few more hurdles to jump over. The next is the Scottish Land Fund application for funding of the purchase of the hall, the legal fees and some revenue income towards employing someone to develop hall activity. The Scottish Land Fund decision making is in August.
